This is my 5.5 gallon tank with 2 1/2 inches of water, is that good enough for a crayfish. It has a tiny sections that is 1/8 of an inch deep. It has a lid and airstone.

Should be plenty for a crayfish. I like the looks of it.

It's simulates a bank or stream

I wouldn't keep any of the larger species
The problem is that most (if not all) native crayfish eventually get rather large

Ok well I keep mine in deep water and they love it. They go from top to bottom one loves to hide in a fake floating log. If that's how you prefer it that's cool and it looks cool I like it it just isn't much water

It's going to be pretty tricky to keep water quality stable, since that's maybe a gallon of water.You might be able to manage a ghost shrimp, but I'm pretty sure most crawdads are too messy for such a small amount of water.
