Half day of fishing in the Milwaukee River in Milwaukee and the Root River in Racine.  It was fun using the technique I learned for blueback herring last weekend (plain #14 bronze hooks jigged up and down near walls) to also catch alewife.

My two targets were alewife and trout-perch.  No sign of the latter unfortunately, but I was still super stoked to get the alewife!
