I saw a fishhead with a research vessel boarding pass in his hands,
walkin' through the streets of Portsmouth just 'efore dawn.
He was lookin' for a ship called Gulf Challenger.
Gonna get big mess of fish geek on!

Aaahoo, fishheads of Portsmouth!
Aaahoo!
Aaahoo, fishheads of Portsmouth!
Aaahoo!

Ya hear him splashing 'round your tidal pools
ya better just let him swim.
Little ol' Lumpfish got dipnetted last night.
Fishheads of Portsmouth again!

Aaahoo, fishheads of Portsmouth!
Aaahoo!
Aaahoo, fishheads of Portsmouth!
Aaahoo!

He's the scaly handed beastie who ran amok in Kittery.
And lately he's been overheard in Rye Beach.
Better get away on the quicks,
he'll snorkel your lungs out, Fritz!
Ha! I'd like read his monograph on Petromyzontidae!

Well I saw Josh Jarvis walkin' with Casper
doin' the fishheads of Portsmouth.
I saw Mike Lucas walkin' with Onefish Twofish
doin' the fishheads of Portsmouth.
I saw Michael Wolfe drinkin' a pina colada at Fat Belly's.
And his hair was PERFECT!

Aahoo, fishheads of Portsmouth!
Net fish!
Aaaho, fish heads of Portsmouth!

(I am sooo sorry, Warren. Just couldna resist the urge...)

Ok, ok....wait a minute....hold on.  I don't mean to derail what is going to be a very cool thread on the convention, but I have GOT to get me one of those shirts.

I wonder if anyone on this forum is from Tennessee.......

I'm glad Jonathan made it to the convention, although I'm sorry I missed his talk.

It was a great presentation and great to see a NANFA grant awardee put in the effort to present results live!

It looked like a great time.  I'm sorry I missed it.  Unfortunately, multiple severe storms in the Midwest changed my work plans.

Those Tennessee Native shirts were done years ago by an artist lady friend of Ed Scott, Murrie Graser.  It was nice to see one in mint condition again.  I will be camping this weekend with Ed and will ask if they have any left over but i recall him telling me all the shirts were

cleared out discount several years ago.  What size do you want and i will ask?

Jonathan gave a fine talk, very interesting about those Sicklefin Redhorses of North Georgia.  He has an open door policy for any NANFA member that wants to assist with his research.  I also have to note the Redhorse poster that Olaf donated to the convention auction, which would greatly aid any owner's Redhorse ID skills.  I think Michael will be advancing his knowledge as the proud poster owner.

We had two Joshs, 2 Mikes and 2 Bobs.  That may have been enough!  No Matts or Dereks though.  Overall a very fine group of folks.

Yeah our 2 Joshs were quite entertaining and much more handsome!

3 Bobs and 3 Mikes.  Excellent, miscount on me, i have never been good at math but i know a good trapezoid when i see one.

I think Fritz has caught us all digitally.  I have been selecting individuals and couples to start with and have a few more.

I am counting on others to round out the attending FishHeads with their snapshot postings but please Josh... that nasty Sea Lamprey does not count!
