Hey guys I wanted to confirm that this little guy in this vid below is a Redfin Pick. No Red fins are visible but it appears to have non-chainlike markings, unless baby Chain Picks have similar markings when they're this small.

lol the video came out crappier than I had hoped, I took a zoomed in screenshot, still not good. But I was thinking I found the elusive Redfin Stickerel because the markings appear wavy like a Redfin

yes, now it is definitely a pickerel and definitely is going "thataway" and definitely has eyes and a pickerel face.
and I would agree with you that is pretty much what juvenile redfins look like for pattern... but I am not sure how different the juvenile patterns are... with this better pic maybe some others will jump in with actual help.

head length is important, chains have longer pointier head and redfin shorter bulkier head. Pattern is similar on small fish and gets more different as they get larger.
