I went fishing with a buddy of mine, and caught the usual stuff (smallmouth bass, walleye and largemouth), but also came across a species that we heard were in the Upper Potomac, but had never caught any of them.  I believe what we found was a juvenile Flathead Catfish (Pylodictis olivaris), caught on a plastic worm.  These are invasive to the Potomac, not good news for our sunfish population!

I didn't catch it, so I can't add it to my life list  ](*,)
