I recently visited the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores.  The tanks were mostly mixed tanks and well labeled, but I had a hard time identifying some of the fish from their labels so I'm hoping you guys can help.

I'm pretty sure these two are from the tank labeled "Mountain Minnows" which contained a mix of Shiners, Dace, Minnows, Darters and Chubs, but I just can't match them to any of those.  What do you think?

Thanks!  That was my best guess, but they didn't exactly look like the drawing on the label.  It's hard to know sometimes.  Does the color vary through the year (breeding season/off season)?

The bottom fish in the first photo appears to be a blue head chub by the tubercle pattern.

Ah thanks!  I was wondering about that one too but didn't have a good photo of the whole fish.
