Hey Betta- Most of those fish you named are pacific fish, though they do look similar.
This thread could get out of hand, There's a dock and rocks to fish on 30 seconds away from our room, so even though I have honeymoon obligations I should get daily session(s) in. I'm already hurting on rigs from all the rocks though. Also, it's crazy windy at all times and forecast doesnt indicate that will change, a squall came through before and I nearly got knocked in the water from like a 70 mph wind gust lol. If ever dies down I'll break out the micro gear and it will get out of control, there are tons of the real colorful juvenile damsels around but looks like will require micro hook to get them
After doing some research , my thoughts. Plus some more fish.
1) Dusky Damselfish (Stegastes fuscus)- I went back out there today and couldn't get away from them, caught like 10 of them and they were all the same. I'm thinking these almost have to Dusky Damsel, they're either Dusky or Beau Gregory, I'm sick of Beau Gregory (both previous Damsels I caught were ID'd as Beau). But this seems very Duskyish
2) Juvenile White Grunt- I think Littlen is correct here based on the blue lines on the face, just seemed to have some squiggly yellow lines on it that threw me off, but if noone thinks different on this, White Grunt it is
3) Banded Jawfish or Mottled Jawfish- After checking out the possible Jawfish, it's either Banded Jawfish as you guys said, or Mottled Jawfish. They both have the dot on the dorsal between the 6th and 9th spines. The only reason I'm not totally sold on Banded yet is that it doesn't appear to have bands on it, but Bandeds do seem more common
4) Female Hairy Blenny? - If so, this is Hairy Blenny central, I've caught 4 already. And if that's a female hairy, this guy below is gonna be putting the moves on her soon (check out them mating colors)

5) Longspine Squirrelfish (Holocentrus rufus)? - Assumed this was just a regular Squirrelfish, but now based on the white tips of dorsal spines I think this is Longspine Squirrel?

6) mystery Grouper- figured this would be of the Hind Groupers, but doesn't appear to be.
