This one was gut hooked unfortunately and died. He appeared to have mottling appear as it died but there was no mottling beforehand. Bullheads+_5_.JPG

If maxillary barbels (at corner of mouth) have light front edge and dark rear, and chin barbels are all light, then they're most likely flats.

If maxillary barbels (at corner of mouth) have light front edge and dark rear, and chin barbels are all light, then they're most likely flats. 

I can usually tell if they are flats pretty easily but these two kinda look like they could go both ways.

Thanks guys. I guess they are both Flats then. Caught some new stuff today in Shelby and posted the album. If you guys have some time I would appreciate looking over it and giving me your two cents. Know I got Tessies, Fantail Darter, Rosyside Dace and a few more that I am need to id. Thanks .
