ID from NC Aquarium, Darter?

Another photo from the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. I think this is a Tessellated Darter (if I'm looking at the right label for that tank).  Sorry I don't have a better view, he was apparently just too comfy to turn around.

From that angle it looks more like a hogsucker than anything else, but...........

Hogsucker?? Who comes up with these names??
Would that be the northern hogsucker?  (looking at photos online)

Probably. Or it could be some other sucker too, the flat head is diagnostic of suckers like the hogsucker.

Like some Tennesseans call them, the box-head trout.  Square head is great indicator of the hogsuckers.
