Watch for yer next AC... marginally edited, even added some Latin for those who wish to know. More and many more appropriate photos.

Wasn't gonna let the cat out of the bag, but since it's out; a certain snorkel guru has indeed put together a very nice piece on said festival and blitz for the upcoming AC. Would still find it interesting to see Kara's article in its entirety. (Burrhead! Burrhead!)

My mailman made a special delivery today. Lots of color pictures and i made the back cover thanks to a quick snap by Fritz. Lance provided images for the front cover featuring a pair of fine Meramec Saddled Darters, local to perhaps where we will soon gather after a long Winter and beautiful Spring.
Thanks to all that make American Currents the fine publication it is.

Yes, my article did get some trimming, but if a picture is truly worth a thousand words, Bryce's photos speak volumes more than my pen ever could. I do hope NANFans enjoy my tribute anyway. And I just saw Casper's article in American Currents---beautifully done!
I wouldn't mind if people wanted to see my longer article, and I've thought about writing up some of my darter breeding adventures for AC...

Kara helped me a bit with the editing, a good eye and clear thought motivator. Here is a nifty picture of her holding a life sized Watercress Darter and a Vermillion and Rush displayed behind her.
