Hi all. I thought members in the DC area might be interested in a talk I'm giving tomorrow on cyprinids. It's not specifically a talk on U.S. native fish, but it does have a lot of native fish content. Cyprinids are native to all the continents except South America, Australia, and Antartica. Despite their extensive range, they share many similarities. It's my belief that as aquarists, we can apply what's been learned from U.S. and European studies to keeping and breeding lesser known species from Asia and Africa.
