My wife and I went camping this past weekend at Hawk campground in the George Washington national forest. It is a very primitive area in Hampshire county, West Virginia. While hiking some of the nature trails I came upon this little body of water.

It reminded me to never underestimate where our native fish can turn up. I went back to camp to get my fishing stuff and made a great camping trip awesome.
