dace/chub confusion was inevitable.  Caught these in the Saw Mill River NY.  Are all of the below fish Creek Chubs? (except the last fish which I believe to be a Longnose Dace)

1)First caught some of these at one spot, Creek Chubs with no horizontal line I think

2)Then at another spot way upstream caught this little guy, figured was a Blacknose Dace...

3)But it turned there were tons of Creek Chubs at this spot, all had the horizontal line prominent, caught these all shapes and sizes and the small ones I checked seemed to have the dark spot on base of dorsal fin, so I guess the small ones werent Blacknose Dace but were juvenile Creek Chubs?

4)Then caught one of these, Longnose Dace?

thanks Matt, Blacknose it is...guess the nose ain't long enough.  Was hoping was a Longnose because they seem far less common around those parts

It's interesting the same-sized Creek Chubs lacked the stripe in a different part of the river

What Nocomis species might be in your area?

I looked up Nocomis and I'm pretty sure none of them occur in that area
