Hi Folks,
I'm going to be away from the computer the next couple weeks, so I wanted to get a show of hands before I took off Sunday.
I am doing a "Meet Your Stream" on May 12th on the Maumee River. The plan is to collect from the Blanchard in the morning with the Outdoor writer for species not occurring in the lower Maumee. We will then collect from the lower Maumee at Side Cut Metropark and do the program.
When that's over, we can go out to the Ottawa River or Portage, whatever, and then do whatever we decide for Sunday to reschedule the lost Maumee outing.
I'd be glad to put any one up at my house. Probably best is to come up on Friday night because it's going to be an early start on Saturday depending on the schedule with the Outdoor writer. However, I will be meeting him in Findlay again (we haven't decided a time yet) so it will be an early morning for people coming from the east and south, but doable.
Please let me know if you plan to participate!
Thanks!
Todd

How long is the event going on for Saturday? I will be out of town the week prior to that Saturday. I was going to be getting back to BG by 2:00pm on Saturday, is that too late? Should I come back Friday night to help out? Do you really need a lot of help early in the morning? Let me know.

Hey Nate, the event is at 3:00 at Side Cut. If you can make it, that would be great. If not, we'll manage
Jeffro, will you pick one mussel species and stick with it? Good to see you using the board. I'll be back in town tomorrow night, we can discuss what's happening this weekend.
Ed, this is kid friendly. We're always kid friendly

I may be there too, 3pm till when?
As long as we want to play. The TNA folks will only probably stay for a bit.
I am going out in the morning on the Ottawa for orangethroat, grass pickerel and mudminnow, and Swan Creek to collect some more fired up greenside specimens probably around 10:00. We're going to meet here on the UT campus if people want to do this, or whatever is convenient.
Ed, if you want to drive into town, it might really work well for you to come to the 3:00 and then we can rehash sites here around Toledo, and stop up into Michigan on Sunday morning and afternoon. You and your daughter are more than welcome to crash at my house.
If anyone else would like to come in from out of town, we'd be glad to put you up. You may be sleeping on a thermarest on the floor, but it beats paying for a room
Todd
