I caught this in a creek in Eastern Ky. At first, I thought it was a typical Green Sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus). I have had it for around a week, maybe a little longer, and the more I look at it, the less I believe it is a full Green Sunfish. It seems to have more of a rounded "hump" (for lack of better words) before its dorsal fin starts. The color kinda seems off too, being more "mottled" on its sides. The greenish blue lines under the eye don't seem to have the same look as a Green Sunfish. So I thought maybe it was a Hybrid, a cross between the Lepomis Cyanellus and Lepomis Macrochirus (Bluegill). It also kind of resembles a juvenile Lepomis Marginatus (Dollar Sunfish), to me at least. Then again, I could just be imagining things... it could be a Green Sunfish. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks half Bluegill. I gill bluegill color pattern on lower part of operculum. Other hybrids with greens and pure greens do not show that.
