Hmmm ... not sure if that Enneacanthus is a bluespotted or a banded. Some specimens are hard to tell. The blunt snout looks like a banded, but color and pattern look more like bluespotted. The large bullhead is probably a yellow. Do you think the small one is the same kind, or different?
Others: warmouth, banded pygmy sunfish, sawcheek darter, gizzard shad, coastal shiner, golden-ear killie, waccamaw killie, waccamaw silverside ?

The large bullhead is probably a yellow. Do you think the small one is the same kind, or different?

The last Bullhead I caught in Lake Waccamaw alongside the Killies and Silversides in three inch deep water. I am leaning towards Yellow Bullhead but could it be a Snail with the dark outlines around the fins?

Or maybe white cat? Cant tell if tail is forked (like white cat) or just chewed up. Menhinick's Freshwater Fishes of NC shows yellow, brown, white, and flat (not snail) bullheads in the lake. The eye looks larger on your small cat than on the big cat, but that might just be an age effect.

I've caught tons of juvenile Flats so I don't believe it is one of those. Maybe it is a White, I may just put it under Yellow Bullhead.

I do think that fish is a bluespot but the one you texted me was definitely a banded. Post that photo. I think the cat with the apparent forked tail and the dark margin on the dorsal is a white cat, not a yellow. Look at the size of its eye compared to the other yellow
