I've got a hot new life-lister coming into to town tomorrow gunning for Rosyface Chubs and Christmas Darters. The E. hopkinsi I have covered, natch, but the Rosyfaces are hit or miss. Think I stumbled on some today in a spot that'd be pretty dang convenient. Just checkin'- any reason not to call these Rosyface Chubs? The first pic is of one fish, the last two are of a different fish... Brightmans Creek, Saluda Drainage, SC

No, I don't see any barbels, but then again unless they're on catfish I don't usually see barbels,,,

Ya, i think they're Rosyface.  Highback would be the other possibility, but the pale color and body shape looks right for Rosyface.
