My friend has a 5' x 2' x 2 1/2' tank. He was wanting a couple rock bass, what other things could go with them? Maybe a bulkhead and minnows

If it was me I would base my fish load on the amount of mechanical and biofiltration.

Bullheads should be fine just make sure you size the fish right. Sunfish will work also. I don't know much about minnows.
