Hi, I'm Matt and I'm a budding aquarist.

I live in Utah, in the Great Basin where Lake Boneville once was.

A few years back I became interested in fish keeping as a hobby and since then I've become more and more interested in Utah's endemic species of fish, invertebrates, and native mosses and plants. While admittedly I do want to create a 29g tank dedicated to Utah's wildlife, I want to do so legally and with care to the environment. Hopefully I can learn more about preserving and protecting the beautiful relics of Lake Boneville's past.

Welcome! Not sure I remember another NANFAn from the Bee Hive State. Glad to hear you emphasize keepin' legal. I'm sure things are a little stricter there than they are for some of us. Keep us up to date with your fishy adventures, I really am fascinated by fishes that live in desert areas.

Main reason why I want to keep it legal is many of our desert "relic" fish and inverts are also endangered.
