Last weekend I went to Spofford lake to try Snorkeling. I parked at the beach, sadly they did not let me go behind the boundaries of the beach. This beach had lifeguards on shore who were sticklers for the rules. Since my Sealife was not working I used my Go Pro Session on a monopod, the first time I ever used it while snorkeling. One odd thing about this lake was it had a current that pushes me along.

My first stop was a rock out in the back corner where Smallmouth Bass gathered.

Closer to shore their was a lifeguard chare in the water that was not being used. It was home to a few Rock Bass and a couple big Pumpkinseed. Sadly the camera aims a bit higher than it looked so all those times I thought I was getting great face to lens video of a pumpkinseed it was below the cameras view.

This one makes me wonder if a wheel would be a good addition to a tank.

Neat stuff, Josh. Maybe they'll let you borrow the wheels once they take the stand down when swim season closes. :)

Maybe that's why folks make fish structures out of old tires
