Yup, been on a Michigan kick since our trip... :)

Michigan DNR issues collectible patches featuring state-native wildlife. Proceeds go to the Nongame Fish and Wildlife Fund. Two past patches feature fish; 2014-2015 sported Lake Sturgeon, and 2001-2002 rocked a Rainbow Darter. 2005-2006 was a generic freshwater mussels issue.

So, if you have already purchased the underappreciated-but-rockin' NANFA patch here http://www.nanfa.org...shtml#nanfalogo, then you may want to pick up the Michigan patches here https://media.state....x?categoryID=12

In my humble opinion, the Lake Sturgeon patch is quite well done. The Rainbow Darter patch is attractive enough, but leaves a lot to be desired in presenting an accurate image of the fish...

They call the passenger pigeon a living resource? Maybe my definition of living is wrong but.....

LOL...They do have a little "extinction notice" on the patch, but it's hard to see.
