I caught this fish in southern Indiana a couple of days ago at Spring Mill State Park, in the small creek that feeds Spring Mill Lake.  Is it a chub, and if so, what kind of chub is it?

Thanks.

Looks Semotilus to me..  Is fallfish a possibility?

I'd guess a plain old creek chub, with faint or absent dorsal spot.

It does look similar to a fallfish, but I doubt that's what it is since their distribution does not include Indiana.  But thanks for your input!

Yes, I'm guessing creek chub, too.

Definitely Semotilus and not Nocomis.
