Does anyone have any easy fixes for black brush and staghorn algae? I am thinking of taking down my 75 and peroxiding everything but the fish. Sadly nearly every pet shop in town has this problem, if it wouldn't grow on the plants I could tolerate it but it's even trying to take over my foxtail which grows several inches a week. Any suggestions?

Apparently black Mollies will eat the stuff. Seachem Excel apparently also kills it, and it's good for your live plants too. I haven't had algae issues since I started dosing Excel daily in a couple of my tanks.

Thank you, would the wild green mollies eat it? I'll try the Excel while I look for wild mollies..
