Hi all,

We are planning to upgrade the nanfa.org site to a newer system. Working with TMD Hosting, a copy has been made of nanfa.org and fishmap.org and we have tested the upgrade.

We tried out the new system with just a few of us and made sure it did not blow up. It did't look pretty in some places but it mostly worked.

Some of the software that powers the website has been upgraded. I don't expect issues, but, you might see things I missed.

We tried the registration, shopping cart and login to forum as well.

We know we will need to some special tweaks to get fishmap.org working but that will come later. Ryan and Sajjad are working on this.

The base operating system upgrade seems to be fine. The next step is Apache and PHP upgrades and java libraries for fishmap.

We plan on a switch over during the week of Thanksgiving with the assumption that there will be fewer visitors to the sites.

However, as will all things software, this system upgrade may cause some temporary issues If issues are detected, you can report it in the"Forum Questions? Bugs? Comments?" Subforum or contact Matt or Michael directly via email.
