Another Friday and another FishGuyJosh video! This week is a quick little piece of some footage we were able to get of a snapping turtle that decided one bank of the river was just not good enough. So he decided to make the long journey all the way across to the otehr side right when we happened to be snorkeling by. Enjoy & Click Subscribe...

Since I took off last week for the holiday. I also made a bonus video. It's a short that will be used as the welcome video of my page when new users visit. Basically a short intro about the videos set to a little song my buddy and I threw to together. Enjoy!

Awesome! With winter setting in, I've been missing Florida more.

I love this stuff, keep 'em coming, FishGuyJosh.

Being a person who hasn't spent a lot of time underwater, I hadn't really consciously thought about swimming turtles vs crawling turtles before. So that lead me to a little side exploration into buoyancy control in turtles. Which then led me into a little side-side exploration of comparative respiratory systems across different kinds of critters, which was fascinating, although I'm sure I barely understood half of it. (But after a while, I did manage to find my way back.)

And I agree with Isaac's "With winter setting in, I've been missing Florida more."
