The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is hiring a temporary Aquatic Conservation Technician. The position will assist the Foothills Aquatic Wildlife Diversity Biologists with surveys and monitoring of Wildlife Action Plan priority aquatic species. Please see the link below for more details. TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME POSITION WITH NC DIVISON OF WATER QUALITY

Seeking a field-oriented individual to fill a temporary, full-time position with the North Carolina Division of Environmental Quality’s Bioassessment Branch: https://deq.nc.gov/a...sessment-branch.   This position will reside within the Division’s Water Science’s Section. Duties primarily entail the field collection of benthic macroinvertebrate, fish community, and fish tissue data. As such, this position will be required to participate in these field activities throughout the State and will require overnight travel. Travel expenses (food, lodging, will be reimbursed). This position will also participate in the collection of physical, chemical and biological data to support North Carolina’s participation in the EPA’s National Rivers and Streams Assessment program. Pay range will be between $15-$20 per hour depending on experience. No health benefits are included with this position.
