This is my first forum post and I am hopeful that someone can be of assistance. I am having a difficult time distinguishing between mummichogs (F. heteroclitis) and striped killifish (F.majalis). I have some pics that were taken in the feeder creek/stream at Old Silver Beach in Falmouth, MA this fall. It may be called Herring Brook, but I could be wrong? I've tried a few sites and the pics are all over the road and I'm not even sue if their ranges overlap, as I've seen conflicting info about that too. Can someone help me out with an ID? Thanks in advance, Jeff

Striped killies should have a longer, flatter head than these fish, and at least some of them should show horizontal stripes. Basded on that, I'd guess these are mummichogs.
