Today I was sitting at my desk checking out my google + account when I heard a rustle under my desk. I bent over to look but didn't see anything. A few minutes later I heard it again. This time I crawled under the desk to get a good look.. SPLAT! Right in the forehead. One of my tadpoles had turned prematurely into a small bullfrog! It startled me so bad I lost track of it and now I'm searching the room with my dogs, who really have no idea what I am doing down on the floor looking under things but they like the game... I guess he'll show back up soon!

Well, that sure is one way to find out, probably the most fun way too.

I hope you find the little guy before your dogs do!

Frogs like to go right for the face, don't they? Funny stuff! That dude is early, isn't he? The chorus frogs have been calling for a while now here in my chunk of SC, peepers some too.

I've had the tadpoles since they were small last year, possibly being inside has caused him to develop prematurely. The other tadpoles are still without legs so it's hard to really be sure.

My dogs wouldn't know what to do if they caught him, they are not exactly super predators...
