Hi all,

in addition to the great events Connecticut DEEP is lining up in April there are a couple that the Connecticut Fund for the Environment/Save the Sound is planning, including a Mill River cleanup on April 7th, details below:

 

Mill River Cleanup

Saturday, April 7, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Criscuolo Park, New Haven
Head to New Haven’s Criscuolo Park for a spring cleanup! We’ll supply gloves and bags, snacks and water, but please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and bring your own refillable water bottle. Meet at Grape Vine Point at end of James Street in New Haven, 06513.

I looked up connecticut river conservancy to see if they are doing things in my neck of the woods. No luck. Then I saw your link and realized it was the Connecticut fund for the Environment, not a group focused on the river itself.
