They have a larval stage that rarely survives under normal aquarium conditions. So they typically do not reproduce well. If that is not a goal, then I think they are plenty interesting and worthwhile keeping.

Yeah, I don’t mind if they can’t reproduce I’ll just watch them for hours when “studying”
