If anyone is in or near Knoxville, Tennessee in July please consider stopping by Ijams Nature Center and take a look at some of my photos.  I'll be showcasing native fishes from Tennessee and the southeast plus a few scenic shots of underwaterscapes.

Can you please post here all the photos you are showing?  Include pricing / shipping and perhaps you will sell a few to NANFA Forum Members.

It is always satisfying to place a SOLD sticker.

 

This would also be nice for an upcoming issue of American Currents.

No, there are 36 images and I don't have the time to resize and post them, but I do have a website:  https://brycegibson1...cegibsonuwphoto which has a few that are in the show and others that aren't.  What I'm showing are framed 8"x10" prints with a white mat and 1" black, wood frame.  I'm selling them for $125.00 each, a portion of which goes to support Ijams Nature Center.

I wish there were more to see.  Although I work strictly in analog B&W, I certainly appreciate the artistry in Bryce's photos.  Very high caliber work.

I really like that one. It does a good job of showing how much brighter they are than everything else in the stream when the light hits them right. Such a cool fish. Im glad you came away with some nice images despite your disappointment with the low success rate.

Is it a 1 in 1000 shot that truly captures that bright blue?

How easy an access is it to get to Ijams? Will be passing through Knoxville on our way from SC to MI next month. At that point we may be ready for a quick break. Would love to see your exhibit if there isn't too much (cue Jimi) "crosstown traffic".

I suppose I could further investigate the website for that intel, but I tend to get sidetracked doing such things and it's just easier to ask here if it's an easy sidetrip to do with the wife and girls in the midst of a long driving day...

MDV, no if you get them in the right light, they are an indescribable blue, the photo doesn't do him justice.  At the wrong angle they wash out to a bluish silver.

 

MK, it is kind of off the beaten path, but approaching from 40 east is not too bad.

 

Ijams Nature Center is located at 2915 Island Home Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37920, approximately three miles from downtown Knoxville.

From Downtown Knoxville via Gay Street

Take the Gay Street bridge south and turn left onto Sevier Avenue. Follow Sevier Avenue through South Knoxville. It will take you over the James White Parkway. Keep straight through the stop signs—Sevier Ave. will turn into Hillwood Dr. At the bottom of Hillwood Dr., turn right at the stop sign onto Island Home Ave. Ijams is approximately 1 mile on the Left.

From Interstate 40W
Take James White Pkwy Exit 388A
Continue on two left lanes down James White Parkway
Cross over the TN River and take the Sevier Ave./Hillwood Dr. exit
Turn Left onto Sevier Ave. (turns into Hillwood Dr.)
Turn Right onto Island Home Ave. (at bottom of hill)
Ijams is approximately 1 mile on the Left

From Interstate 40E
Take James White Pkwy Exit 388A
Merge onto James White Pkwy.
Cross over the TN River and take the Sevier Ave./Hillwood Dr. exit
Turn Left onto Sevier Ave. (turns into Hillwood Dr.)
Turn Right onto Island Home Ave. (at bottom of hill)
Ijams is approximately 1 mile on the Left
