Either I'm delicious or I have leg parasites!

This video is rated N for gratuitous Nocomis cuteness.

I have a sudden new idea for an unusual 55 gal bioscape ...

That's some real southern hospitality right there.  "Come on in, we'll clean yer feet".

Boy howdy let me tell ya, I'm surprised they weren't going belly up. After a ~2 hour non-air conditioned ride up and the short but hot 'n' humid hike in, those were not the best smelling of toes, either!

There was a news story within the last 24 hours about a woman somewhere who got a "fish pedicure" and subsequently lost her toenails. It didn't exactly say that the fish had stolen them, but it didn't offer any other explanations either.

Matt, it was wise of you to use free-ranging nocomis, who presumably associate with you because they like you, not because they're indentured slave laborers.

(Not that I'm opposed to capitalism. I think every state needs a capital.)

yeah, definitely gotta choose yer chubs wisely. With that many of 'em around I'd've been walking out sans toes if they were disgruntled fish. So glad they were gruntled.

PS, any reason to think any of those were anything more than Blueheads. River Chubs are supposed to be in the same area, and obviously my underwater id acumen is not the best. Also, I never thought of Nocomis as loners, but certainly never expected a school of 'em like that!
