I am pleased to announce that Joleena Jewell, has agreed to take on the responsibilities of being the Regional Representative for NANFA in Arizona.

Joleena is a senior aquarist of freshwater fishes at OdySea aquarium in Scottsdale Arizona and program coordinator for the AZA desert fishes species survival plan.  She is well positioned to spread the word about NANFA and will be working to build the membership in Arizona.

Please welcome Joleena.

Welcome indeed Joleena, looking forward to meeting you in person one of these days.

Welcome Joleena.  We've never had a convention in Arizona...

OneFish, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but this is not how an organization encourages people to step up to volunteer roles. More subtlety and thoughtful strategery is needed. Introducing a subject of this magnitude should require at least a 14 day waiting period.

Consider this a best practice recommendation. For the next time.

Doug,

Duly noted... although 14 days seems extreme

Ah, here she is!  I was hoping all our Regional Reps would be Forum participants, since that's one of our main correspondence venues in between AC issues, and for organizing & promoting local trips and events.  Welcome Joleena -- glad you're here.  I am a Reg Rep in NC.
