Hi all! Long time no post. Anyhow, I am setting up a 10 gallon heavily planted tank, where I am hoping to keep fish that would also do well (but not necessarily be visible) in an 18 gallon water garden over the summer (shooting more for improving fish quality and breeding than cosmetic enjoyment of the fish...the plants will be the cosmetic enjoyment). Have any suggestions for such a fish? Here is my list of 10 gallon fishes so far (don't know how all of these would do in a water garden that can hit the low 80's on the bottom);

- Flagfish (pair)

- Pygmy sunfish (group)

- Leptolucania (group)

- Heterandria Formosa (group)

- Bluefin killifish (small group?)

Any others you can think of? Would any of the above fare poorly in a water garden? Thanks :)

EDIT: Almost forgot! Tried to search this topic but did not find much useful.

I have a 10 gallon "Gulf coast" tank I enjoy very much...

Heterandria Formosa, Grass (Ghost) shrim and "Cajun" dwarf cryfish with a couple of olive nerite snails.

Piece of drift wood and thick planing of eel grass.

I sit in front of it now more than my television...
