Hi all! My thoughts about water garden fish have turned to a native Maine baitfish, the banded killifish, which obviously would have a LONG season in my water garden. How would this species do in a 10 gallon tank? in a 40 gallon water garden? (Both will have tight lids). I was hoping to feed live baby brine shrimp, pellets, and maybe a homemade food consisting of pureed shrimp, spirulina powder, and plain gelatin. Thanks!

PS...might try to collect these fish, so...how do I get a baitfish license in Maine?

I have Banded Killies in my 300 gallon garden pond in SE PA.  I started in the summer of 2017 with 6 and now there are dozens.  They apparently have no issues reproducing.
