This was a short, but neat article with a nice slide show of photos describing the incredible underwater world and diversity of our own rivers, lakes and streams.

I think NatGeo needs a new editor with a background in ichthyology.

Yeah, they need to do a little more research on lampreys. They DO attack humans, just not as often as fish.

I was making a comment on the editor using "open-jawed" to describe a jawless fish. :)
