I picked up a new camera (Canon A560) and wanted to try it out on fishes. In general the camera has the same features as my A520 but new video capabilities as well as the fact that Canon made just about every feature as simple as possible to use. With my high speed memory card I'm writing photos over twice the size in half the time I used to. What a difference two years makes in technology.

WOW. The pigments almost look animated and if it wasn't for the shading you'd wonder if those are real. The melanophores and pigments on scales and margins between fin rays is amazing in the welaka.

Very nice photos indeed. Now I want you to point me in the direction of where to get photo tanks like you used here. Correct me if I am wrong but it seems you used some sort of photo tank. Hand made??

I do make my own photo tanks. I learned from this place.

I'll also start a how to thread in the near future.
