Hello NANFans...
We have been out of, or with very few sizes of the official NANFA logo grey shirts for a year or so now.
Working with others and the NANFA BoD we have developed a design for a new NANFA shirt.
There has been interest in black shirts over the years so i developed a design using this softer charcoal colored shirt. Some note a black shirt is hot in the Summer sun but this charcoal color is toned down from a hard, harsh black.
There has also been an interest in quick dry poly shirts and this is a 65% poly 35% cotton blend. Though not 100% poly it will dry much quicker than 100% cotton.
It feels great and was used on the recent CFI Bluemask Darter shirts which look and feel great.
Dennis, of East Coast Printers, has been giving NANFA a great discount for several years now and has offered to print these using the same silk screen techniques as the CFI shirt. My CFI shirt has held up well, colorfast and vibrant after many washings.
The shirt's front features the wide spread and beautiful Southern Redbelly Dace. Lance Merry worked with an illustration his Dad Kevin did a few years back.
Note that the Rainbow Darter logo will remain the official NANFA logo. This is just a subtle play on our logo. The shirt's back will retain the official black and white version of NANFA's logo along with our mission statement.
I am asking you NANFans of your interest and any comments on the shirt before we print and or decide how many shirts to print.
