Thank you CaptScot for the encouragement! I am pretty excited to see what I can make with my new tank. I have never had a tank this large before but I do definitely plan to have a LOT of structures in the tank, rocks, plants, wood, etc. Your experience is definitely in line with what I was hoping for.

In other news with the tank I debating whether I should try a DIY rimless tank. To buy a rimless tank is quite expensive  (about 1000 dollars from the cheapest online seller I could find before shipping for a 120 gallon or around 500 for a 75 gallon). Has anyone here made a large rimless tank? I am watching videos of folks that have and there doesn't seem to be a lot of consensus on the way to do it. I basically am looking for reassurance that this is a reasonable thing to do ;)

If I do go forward with a DIY rimless tank I will probably be using 1/2" thick glass for a 120 gallon. At least the back panel will be drilled for bulkheads so I can't use tempered glass there and probably won't use it anywhere. Others have indicated that 1/2" should be adequate for a 2' tall tank.
