That was pretty cool. Great water conditions as well! About 40 years ago when I was 8, my father and I were fishing at this small farm pond near our old house, and I recall it very clearly because I was in the one corner of this square pond and there were about 5 bass nests all being guarded by some substantial sized bass in this corner. Of course I was fishing with worms and no matter what I did, couldn't get them to budge. I was bummed, and then pops came over with the rubber nightcrawlers and lures. He blew those nests wide open catching bass and then turning them loose again.
