I'm in the process of looking for tankmates for my heterandria, and I'm torn between corydoras and these. Whichever I get, I want to be able to breed. However, I've heard these can be difficult. So here's what I'm thinking...
I'll take a 2.5 gallon with a plastic canvas lid, add some floating plants, a small spawning mop, and some guppy grass along with a female. I'll fatten her up and add the male, then slowly replace the water with distilled or rain water until spawning occurs. Will this work?
