Need helpAttached File  Pitcher_plant.jpg   22.58KB   3 downloadsHi, I am new to the forum. Two weeks ago, I separated my pitcher plant and this new growth appeared on one of the separated plants. It looks like a bunch of small seeds. Does anyone know what it is? Is it a seed pod? Can I grow more plants from it? Appreciate any info you can give me as this is my first carniverous plant and I don't know too much about them.

It looks like what you have is a species of Nepenthes, also commonly called "pitcher plant". None are native to North America; most are from SE Asia and are terrestrial. It is called "pitcher plant" because of the pitchers that can form at the tips of the leaves, which dangle and colllect insects much in the same fashion as do our native pitchers (from the genus Sarracenia). It looks like yours is about to bloom. As far as how to propagate from seed, I do not know.
