Could have easily had the name sculpin darter, rather than blenny. It is amazing in a net how similar they look to Cottus.

You should see them from the top when they are in the seine, sculpin indeed! A very neat darter.

or how about Hog-darter ? my first-glance impression was Wow! a Hypentelium with 2 dorsals !
behaviorally is it any different from related Etheo's ??

You should see them from the top when they are in the seine, sculpin indeed! A very neat darter.
