Hello all,

I am after some/any advise regarding the banded sunfish and black banded sunfish. I live in the UK and can find very little information on either species. I would like to know temps, diets and Habitats if possible. Also temprement of the fish I'd they are aggressive or calm fish.

They are similar to Key-hole cichlid outside of breeding. Breeding males are more aggressive. They are otherwise shy unless they have a lot of cover. Behavior varies a lot based on circumstances.
