Ok, on the Georgia wildlife web site, it defines domestic fish as follows:

"lawfully obtained farmed fish which are held in confinement in private ponds, but only if they are fish species which are either indigenous to Georgia or are fish species which have been recognized before 1992 as having an established population in Georgia's public waters"( http://www.gofishgeo...l...0&txtPage=4 ).

Does this mean any fish native to GA that had a breeding population going before '92? I just needed someone to clear this up for me, because there are some GA native fish I wanted to try to breed and sell.

Thanks for any info.
Steve

If you want to clear things up about a law that pertains to commercial sale of native fish species your best bet is to call the GA DNR directly and get the actual answer instead of the speculation that we can offer since none of us work (that I know of) for them.

Definitely follow the above advice. Be sure to get a hold of someone that works in the area of aquaculture regulation and not just any ol' GA DNR worker.
