Hello.
Is it possible that Yellow-perch or Bass reared in an aquarium will not grow as big as in the wild.
Can the environment influence the growth of fish.
Like the Goldfish.

I can speak from extensive only with bass which includes Largemouth, Spotted and Smallmouth occuring in the midwestern USA. When water quality high and food quality high (live crayfish or well fed minnows), I could get them to 1.5 lbs in less than a year using 10-gallon aquariums. That had only one fish per tank and males did not make that growth rate.
Find ways for people not already interested in natives to value them.
