Fisheries Oceanography / Marine Zooplankton Ecology, Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Responsibilities include coordination of large-scale sampling program involving physical, biological and fisheries oceanography. The successful applicant should demonstrate general understanding across these fields, and specific experience in zooplankton ecology. Familiarity with marine zooplankton identification is desirable. The applicant should be comfortable working at-sea under variable weather conditions common in the northern Gulf of Mexico. Duties also include monthly trips of one to three days duration to collect samples. Starting full-time salary is competitive and full benefits, including medical and participation in the retirement system, are provided. Applicants should meet the minimum requirement of a BSc in marine sciences, fisheries oceanography or related field.
