Hi all-

This is a reminder that NANFA is accepting proposals for the 2022 Gerald C. Corcoran Education Grant!!  

 

New and improved with grant award up to $2,000!!   Deadline for submission is March 31, 2022.  Qualifying applicants must be members of NANFA but non-members may submit their annual dues with their proposals.  Proposals will be evaluated and ranked by a review committee, and funding awarded on June 30th.

 

NANFA will sponsor a project or projects to educate the general public about native North American fishes and their environment. The Corcoran Education Grant will fund such educational projects as:

• Production and distribution of educational materials (print and electronic media)
• Education based aquatic surveys
• Lecturing expenses
• Nature Center exhibits
• School materials and displays
• Field and laboratory supplies
• Teacher training workshops

Please spread the word regarding the solicitation of proposals OR submit that proposal you have been thinking about.
