Hello all!

I'm new to native fish and new to fishkeeping, but while working in a zebrafish lab over the summer and microfishing in my spare time, I've started to collect juvenile crayfish, snails, sucker, darter, and dace juveniles on my trips to the local mountain streams out here in the Berkshires.

My local watersheds in college are the Housatonic and Hudson/Hoosic watersheds. Back home, I live in the Middle Kern / Tehachapi Grapevine watershed.

One 5 gallon homemade acrylic tank later and some river quartz rocks later, and I'm clumsily attempting to keep fish now, making many mistakes along the way.

welcome slang!

Collecting regulstions in California are pretty restrictive, but I think you have some pretty good options in Mass.
