Not much out there on it, supposedly they are difficult to spawn, I'll have to dig out my book "American Aquarium Fishes" and read what is says on em. In the mean time try this...

Ya I have that book, I don't recall it saying too much on breeding. I think it said they breed in crevices. But thanks for the link, and the reply.

www.conservationfisheries.org has some madtom breeding info in their newsletter archives, not tadpoles but a few other species.
